You’re tired of being targeted by tobacco advertising.

You don’t believe tobacco industry lies.

You’re a middle school or high school student in New Mexico.

And you have something better to say…

Here’s your chance to say it. And you might even get your ideas on radio and TV !

We're looking for radio scripts and TV storyboards for 30-second ads written by New Mexico youth, aimed at preventing tobacco use by New Mexico youth.

We're particularly interested in ads aimed at youth from low-income households, rural youth, Native American youth, LGBT youth, and youth with disabilities, as well as storyboards and scripts in languages other than English.

Your ad could tell the deadly truth about tobacco.  It could slam the tobacco industry’s lies.  It could talk about why so many young people are choosing to live tobacco-free lives.  Or anything else you think up!

We’ll pick 8 contest winners (4 TV storyboards and 4 radio scripts).  Each winner will receive $500 cash!

There’s even a chance your ad could be picked for statewide radio or TV broadcast.  If it is, you’ll get $5,000! (Yes, five thousand dollars!)

Explore our website for tips on how to write a winning script or storyboard.  Then get ready to Talk Back to Big Tobacco!
